La Mesa, California
La Mesa is well served by San Diego's regional Metropolitan Transit System, which covers 3,240 square miles of service area and has 290,000 riders each weekday.
There are five trolley stations within the city limits of La Mesa, and five bus routes. The city also maintains Rides4Neighbors, a way for community members to assist elderly residents with transportation opportunities and to increase carpooling.
